As close as you will ever be to a nuclear explosion

No thank you.

The columns of smoke in the foreground are telephone poles boiling

This is way cooler to look at than it should be

Science side of Tumblr would like to add:
Heat is generally transmitted in 3 forms: conduction, convection, radiation.
The fact that the telephone poles and wires are boiling away well before the shockwave hits them indicates that the heat from the explosion has not reached them by convection (much slower than the speed of sound) or by conduction (at best, comparable to the speed of sound), but purely by radiation. In other words: the explosion is bright enough to boil everything.

  5. "Graduates with higher earning power then help the next generation through progressive taxation; the increased skills improve the productivity and profitability of our businesses, that is the nature of the social contract. To fully fund course fees, introduce a universal student allowance and progressively write off existing student debt would cost less than the amount National has tagged for tax cuts for 2017." 7. I wonder how many stranger’s stories we make it into? You know, maybe someone saw you in passing and told their friends about how pretty the girl in the lavender sweater was. Or maybe they overheard you say a joke and repeated it to their friend, confessing that they heard it from some guy at the store.  (Source: bellecosby, via just-have-to-let-go)

Hahaha, so apparently Emoji-Dick is a thing that was born from Kickstarter in 2013. Amazing.

  9. "It used to be that all students would pay a fee and students would use that money to run student support services. What happens now is that all students are levied and they have no say on how the service provision works. All this talk about student services is rubbish. It’s about having students have control over the student services run for students." — John Minto, Internet-Mana candidate

  11. Anonymous said: One of the saddest and most hil- NO BITCH, the sad thing here is the fact that you're a stripper. If you want respect, maybe you should've graduated high school. 😂😂 when did stripping become a legitimate career? stripperina: Awww, you tried so hard, but unfortunately I can’t hear you over the sound of my debt-free college degree and massive disposable income.
